YASS gives developers a clear, expressive way to describe what a program should do. ZPE then connects that code to modules, objects, web pages, native substrates, and the systems it needs to work with.
That means you can start with a small script and still have a path towards a serious application. You do not have to begin by writing the lowest-level implementation, but you are not trapped above it either.
